Job Summary:

Cognizant is seeking a skilled and experienced Polarion Consultant to join its high-performance team in Pune, India. The role focuses on implementing and customizing Siemens Polarion ALM solutions in complex enterprise environments. Ideal candidates should bring deep expertise in Polarion configurations, plugin development, dashboard creation, and integration with PLM systems.

Responsibilities::

• Implement and integrate ALM solutions, specifically Siemens Polarion, in enterprise environments.
• Configure Polarion project templates and define work items, attributes, and workflows.
• Handle administration tasks and process management within Polarion.
• Develop complex dashboards for enhanced project monitoring and management.
• Customize Polarion through plugin development and scripting.
• Execute updates and upgrades for Polarion systems.
• Set up and configure ALM infrastructure to support application lifecycle processes.
• Manage Polarion ALM-PLM integration projects effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ALM tools meet organizational needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive hands-on experience in ALM implementations and integrations.
• Expert knowledge of Siemens Polarion; certification is a plus.
• Experience with Polarion update processes and administration.
• Strong scripting and development experience using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
• Familiarity with ALM infrastructure setup and enterprise IT environments.
